Self-founded full-stack mobile product. Built the React Native and TypeScript client with Redux Toolkit, React Navigation, a feature-first structure, and persisted state. Designed and implemented the NestJS API: JWT authentication, TypeORM entities over MySQL, class-validator DTOs, i18n, transactional email, and Swagger-documented endpoints covered by Jest tests. Built the itinerary optimization pipeline end to end. The API generates a CSV dataset and calls a Python FastAPI engine that routes each day using haversine distances and a nearest-neighbour heuristic under budget and interest constraints.

Writing code is most of the job, but not all of it. I run knowledge sharing sessions for my team, I have organized and hosted my own public talk for charity, and I have been invited in as a guest judge to assess other people's work. Here is what that looked like.

Clean Code: Key for Project Success, Thinking & Negotiations

Own event, open to the public · The LOFT center, Yerevan

This one was mine end to end. I picked the topic, built the talk, booked the room at The LOFT, and did the promotion myself. I asked my network to share the post so more people would hear about it. Then I stood up and gave it to a room of people who had paid to be there.

What I covered

  • What makes code good: readable, simple, and only then optimized
  • How to run a code review that helps instead of hurts
  • Why reading someone else's code is a skill you practice, not a talent
  • Naming things well, and why it is harder than it looks
  • Negotiating inside your team, and with the people outside it

Every bit of the money raised went to the Armenian Wounded Heroes Fund.

Clean Code: Key for Project Success

BeeWeb knowledge sharing sessions · Yerevan

BeeWeb runs regular knowledge sharing sessions, and I took one on clean code. I did not want it to be a lecture, so half of it was hands-on. We pulled up real websites from well-known international companies and looked at the variable names they had shipped. Then we did a few short games to show how the brain actually reads code.

  • Readability, simplicity, and optimization, in that order
  • Code review as a conversation, not a verdict
  • Where psychology and programming meet
  • The art of understanding another developer's code quickly
  • Naming variables: the small decisions that add up

Playwright: automation that earns its keep

A hands-on workshop on Playwright. I kept it close to real work. Every idea came with an example from a real test suite, so people could see where it pays off and where it does not.

Qualification and assessment panel

Relq, in cooperation with BeeWeb · Yerevan

Relq and BeeWeb ran this one together, and I was invited in with my teammates to sit on the qualification and assessment rounds. We went through the participants' work and gave each of them straight, practical advice on how to keep moving in IT. Being trusted to judge other people's work is a different kind of responsibility from shipping your own, and I took it seriously.
